Organizational Profile:

HCSSIR was founded on November 15, 2020 in Queens, N.Y. USA by a group of socially conscious individuals living in Haiti, Boston and Florida who wanted to make a difference at the lives of people in need in N.Y., Florida, as well as in Haiti.

HCSSIR works and serves communities throughout N.Y. and Florida HCSSIR also networks nationwide with other organizations. HCSSIR helps raise public awareness regarding challenges facing Haiti. It also provides concrete support to under privileged communities in Haiti.

HCSSIR believes in and works for Solidarity and Diversity among people of all nationalities, political, religious beliefs… HCSSIR is open for membership to organizations and individuals.

HCSSIR is run and operated by a Board of Directors, Advisors and a professional staff. as well as volunteers.

Mission:

The purpose of the Haitian Committee for Social Services and Immigrants Rights (HCSSIR) is to provide much-needed quality services; advocate for immigrant rights, as well as to facilitate social integration of immigrants in the U.S. (HCSSIR) also has for mission to assist underprivileged communities in Haiti.

The Services we provide to the communities we serve include:

Laguage Servies: Translation, Interpreting and English as a Second Language (ESL) clasesses.

These services play a vital role in fostering effective communication across linguistic barriers. Our dedicated professionals and educational programs are designed to bridge language and cultural gaps, facilitating improved communication and integration for individuals and organizations in diverse linguistic environments.

Immigration Services and Citizenship Education

HCSSIR, we offer immigration services and citizenship education to assist immigrants with immigration procedures, citizenship test preparation, and cultural integration.

Housing Services

In HCSSIR, we provide housing assistance, offering support to individuals and families in obtaining safe and stable housing. Our services include financial aid, temporary shelter, assistance in finding affordable housing, and counseling to prevent homelessness. We are dedicated to addressing housing-related challenges and improving overall housing stability for those in need.

Traning and Technical Assistance

In HCSSIR, we provide training and technical assistance to individuals, organizations, and communities. Our services encompass a wide range of areas, from job training and professional development to specialized technical guidance. We offer tailored programs to strengthen skills and knowledge, promoting growth and efficiency in various fields, all customized to meet the specific needs of our recipients.
